Ackworth Library

PUBLIC MEETING was held on 22 November, thank you to all those who attended. We are now awaiting further information from Wakefield MDC and will update this section as we receive it.

Chrstmas Lights Switch On - Friday 25 November
We hope you enjoyed our lights switch on. Although the evening was cold there was a good turn out for the Carol Service and to count down to the lights switch on by Gala Queen, Alisha Bagg.

Santa Day - Saturday 10 December 2011
At the Parish Council Community Centre on Bell Lane. Santa is due to arrived at 9.30am and will be heading back to the North Pole at 4.30pm. This is an invitation only event, invites will be distributed to the schools in the Village early December.
