At its meeting in November 2018, the Parish Council agreed to allocate funds for the installation of speed humps in Bell Lane Car Park

At its meeting in September 2020 (agenda item 12), the Parish Council agreed to allocate £10,500 to the provision of additional car parking at College Lane Surgery.

At a consultation in 2021 the Parish Council received suggestions on projects for the money.

At its meeting in July 2022 (agenda item 21), the Parish Council agreed to reprioritise these projects and agreed the remaining money will be allocated to the following projects:

• Equipping the new community centre and open space "Ackworth Quarries Community Centre" on the Strata development
• Providing outdoor fitness equipment on Dando Way
• Towards funding of a new community centre in Low Ackworth

At its meeting in March 2023, the Parish Council approved the recommendation from the Finance and General Purposes Committee meeting that the CIL funding will be split equally between the above-mentioned projects.

At its meeting in October 2024, the Parish Council agreed a process for allocating the current unallocated CIL funds totalling £32,385.40. Click here for see the results of this process. 

At its meeting in February 2025, the Parish Council agreed that the current unallocated CIL funds totalling £32,385.40 would be allocated towards the replacement of the community centre in Low Ackworth, as it was decided that this project would achieve the biggest reach and benefit to the residents of Ackworth.
