Tree Planting

At its meeting in October, the Parish Council agreed to plant a variety of native hardwood tree species including oak, lime, hornbeam, cherry, field maple and beech, at Carr Bridge and Low Ackworth playing fields.
Nineteen trees have now been planted between the two sites plus one tree on the grass verge at the entrance to The Courtway on Station Road.
The Village Facilities committee continues to look at and recommend other schemes within the village to the full Parish Council, for the benefit of the community.
