People arriving in Ackworth will soon be greeted by new signs on the roads coming into the village.
Following a meeting of the Village Facilities committee last week. Councillors Amanda Cook and Martin Roberts braved the chilly weather on Sunday to check out possible sites for the new signs. They walked for several hours and covered almost 9 miles.
The final decision on the sites will be taken at the Parish Council meeting in February.
